Phil remembers becoming interested in trains around the age of 7 when he played with his Lionel train set.   He grew up along the Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Line in New Jersey.  Now retired, Phil is a West Point graduate who spent 4 years in the service.  During his career he worked for New Jersey Bell, Pepsi in marketing in the U. S., and was VP/General Manager for Pepsi in the Philippines.  Later, he opened and ran his own management/recruiting firm for 18 years.  Phil was President of Treasure Coast Model Railroad Club in Port St. Lucy, FL where the group built a 1,600 square foot model layout.  He came to Wellsboro in 2005 and has volunteered with the TTS as a brakeman and conductor.  He also served as president of the TTS for 2 years.
